Updating xcode

Can you give a brief explanation as to what will need updating / how to go about it, when a fix is released. We can wait a couple of days, after that we should try somenthing.

Once we fully release the image (we will announce this separately), you will be able to select Xcode 8.2.1 in your build by adding the following to your test: override: - set -o pipefail && xcodebuild CODE_SIGNING_REQUIRED=NO CODE_SIGN_IDENTITY= PROVISIONING_PROFILE= -sdk iphonesimulator -destination 'platform=i OS Simulator, OS=10.1,name=i Phone 7' -workspace My Workspace.xcworkspace -scheme "My Scheme" clean build test | tee $CIRCLE_ARTIFACTS/xcode_| xcpretty --color --report junit --output $CIRCLE_TEST_REPORTS/xcode/instead of UUIDs.

Update Jan 18 2017: On Jan 13 we released Xcode 8.2 and not 8.2.1 to production—right now Xcode 8.2.1 is out on all production machines.

then recompiling and installing back on the mac worked for me (although the plist is now always generated as export Options.plist instead of app Name.plist *Updated as i realised I duplicated the fix instead of before & after I am relatively new to IOS development, and having spent the time setting up my provisioning profile, configuring remotebuild, fixing the issues with xcode recognising my provisioning profile, I thought I was there when VS output showed 1 ** BUILD SUCCEEDED **., only to get....

xcrun : error : unable to find utility "Package Application", not a developer tool or in PATH I am using Visual Studio, to deploy a Cordova project, via remotebuild , on OS 10.3.x with Xcode 8.3. Do you have an idea about when the fix will be available?

If you click "run" in Visual Studio, your app will get deployed, but doesn't start and Visual Studio doesn't ever complete the build process.

You'll have to cancel it manually and start the app manually on your device.

In the next few days we will roll out the new OS X build image.

The update replaces Xcode 8.2 beta with the release version, Xcode 8.2.1. We decided to split the update into two iterations and haven’t updated the post accordingly. We will update the post now and follow up with more details once Xcode 8.2.1 is present in the production image.

Press the Update Frames button and the frame updates. You must have all constraints satisfied before the button will update frames. Press the align button and center the text view by checking on Horizontally in Container and Vertically in Container. We’d like to have two buttons that fill the available space. Shift select Equal Width and Equal Heights, then hit the Add Constraints selection. Priorities are covered in detail in Chapter 12 of Practical Autolayout for Xcode 8. Until then or if you cannot update your book, consider this an errata to the versions now available.

Again don’t update frames, but click Add 2 constraints. The option used in Practical Auto Layout for these buttons is to make them the same size.

More on how to get Xcode 8.2 and i OS 10.3 to work together here; https://gist.github.com/steipete/d9b44d8e9f341e81414e86d7ff8fb62d To make sure your mac is setup correctly, you can use Xcode and create a blank project to deploy.
